Sunday School

Calvary has adult education at 8:30 a.m. every Sunday and children’s Sunday School at 10:15 a.m..

The next unit of our adult education began on Dec. 4!
The unit is called “Honoring Our Neighbor’s Faith.” In the interest of understanding people we work and live near, this series of classes discusses the beliefs and traditions of fellow Christians. We will look at their teachings, history and uniqueness. We begin with our Lutheran family, the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. On Dec. 11th we will look at LC-MS; on December 18 we will dialog with Dave Wright from our St. Joe Hwy neighbor, Our Savior Lutheran. Educational articles are available to read. We meet Sundays at 8:30 a.m. Classes are being taught by Pastor Rick McKenzie and Pastor Laura Gerstl-Beukema.
Children’s Sunday School is being taught during the main service by several volunteers. We are using the Deep Blue curriculum from Cokesbury.
